Session Overview

We are looking to apply for the NYC discretionary funding again next year after the first failed attempt last year. We would love someone to look at the application materials we submitted last year and suggest adjustments.

Nonprofit Overview

We are a non-profit organization committed to creating connections through the art of tea. We bring people together to explore, cultivate, and share an appreciation of tea, arts, and culture in a warm and inclusive environment. In a fast-paced world marked by increasing divisions and differences, we recognize the pressing need to create these safe spaces to engage in thoughtful dialogue, appreciate diverse perspectives, and forge lasting relationships. Tea is a conduit for cultural exchange, artistic expression, and mutual respect while bringing the intention to the moment. By nurturing an appreciation for tea and its accompanying arts, we endeavor to create a world where the simple act of sharing the beauty of tea can catalyze positive change.

Our programs include seasonal public programs in NYC public parks, community engagement tea at community gardens around NYC, training, and the Golden Tea program at seniors centers.
