Session Overview
We need evaluation of insurance policy to determine risk to our charitable entity and Board of Directors. We are a grassroots organization and encourage volunteers to feel empowered to work relatively independently. A group has gone rather far down the path of establishing a tool-lending library in one of the communities our organization serves (a worthwhile endeavor indeed) without giving sufficient thought to the possible liability to the organization regarding lending potentially hazardous tools to the general public. We can provide a copy of our current insurance policy and also a proposal we have for a new policy and would like to have more expert evaluation regarding our risk than our board members can provide. NAZCCA’s mission is to inform and engage people from all walks of life to join a broad and diverse climate movement across Northern Arizona. NAZCCA seeks to raise awareness of the threats of climate change and activate residents to organize and work toward solutions that reduce human impact on climate. We hope to achieve a future that is sustainable for all peoples and life on Earth.
