Disability Partnerships is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2016. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with physical disabilities. We do this in several ways: health and wellness, education, economic empowerment and affordable accessible housing. As a relatively young nonprofit, I'm looking for advice from someone with a business development and planning background to help with identifying multiple opportunities to increase funding and building diverse streams of income for the organization. Our only source of income is grants. We also have occasional individual donations. I want to look at other opportunities to make the organization sustainable. For example, Girl Scouts cookie drive is a huge fundraiser that allows the organization to be sustainable. I want ideas similar to that ...I'm open to suggestions and am hoping for guidance on business planning that will allow us to continue our core programs.
