Session Overview
Children's Equity Coalition is emerging from a 30-year-old nonprofit, formerly HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) USA, a national organization that focused on early childhood education and home visiting. Will focus more on a 2gen approach, workforce investment, health and well-being.
• Management processes - his involves the planning, monitoring. this means ensuring that the team is meeting targets, that the workplace is compliant and safe, and that concerns of employees are dealt with – among other managerial duties.
• Service delivery - regarding information technology service such as a software platform (Training, digital curriculum, etc.)
• Quality assurance regarding the services that are provided
• Distribution – reaching the customer with the product
Nonprofit Overview
We are a 33-year-old national 501 C 3 emerging into a new mission that serves a broader base. Our former mission was "We partner with parents to help prepare our child for school." While that is still part of what we do, we are expanding our scope to make it a more "holistic family" approach that goes beyond providing pre-k services, but also include family engagement, wellness, job training, and career pathways.
