Session Overview
The Director of Development recently submitted their resignation. This individual had been in the position for about 6 years and is key member of the 7 person-team. The functions of this senior-level position (fundraising, major event planning and grant-writing) are critical to the organization's sustainability, however seems it will be difficult to hire an experienced professional at the current salary level. Currently, the organization is facing serious financial challenges due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. I would like to explore and discuss alternatives of how these functions can be covered with the current resources available.
