We will be holding a Spina Bifida clinical conference from May 31-June 1 and are using a mobile app through the platform Ventla to enhance the experience of the event attendees. We’re looking for someone with a keen attention to detail who can upload content into the app. Examples of content to be uploaded: speaker information, schedule of events, sponsor information, etc.

The Spina Bifida Clinical Care Meeting is the only conference dedicated to the care of people living with Spina Bifida. Clinicians from across the country will come to hear from other experts in the field. Enhancing participant experience is high priority for this event. This app will allow attendees to focus on the content of the event while having a detailed agenda and complimenting materials at their fingertips.

While the work will occur between now and the conference, over 6-7 weeks, the work itself is fairly simple and straightforward for anyone who is comfortable with data entry and is fairly facile with technology. It would be a huge help to us and make a big difference in the success of an event that really leads to improving the lives of the 166,000 Americans living with Spina Bifida—one of the most common, permanently disabling birth defects compatible with life.

We will place all the information needed to go into the app in a folder and a spreadsheet for easy tracking. We have an example of how we used the app in 2022, so you’ll have something to compare against.
