Project Overview

We are searching an experienced Brand and Marketing Volunteer who can lead the development of our key messages that communicate what we do, how we are different, and what value we bring to our stakeholders. Our ideal volunteer partner will be a creative communicator who is ready to dive into messaging strategy with our team!

We envision a set of key messages that we can use across media and marketing collateral (i.e., website copy, social media posts, infographics, brochures, email templates, etc.). that caters to our target audiences.

The first meeting will be an opportunity for the CEO to provide you with a briefing on our goals as an organization, accomplishments, and long term vision. We will provide the volunteer with our existing communications and marketing materials, and give the volunteer an in-depth sense of what we want to convey to our audience. We are using the "MyStorybrand" framework and it is helping us get our story honed in on.

This is a critical next step before announcing our first National event - The Golden Victor Awards - recognizing outstanding organizations for their incredible impact in the mental health arena for veterans, first responders, and their families. Featuring Master of Ceremony, Ian Bohen (Actor from the hit TV series, "Yellowstone") and other celebrity guests to help elevate the collective voice in breaking the mental health stigma for our nation's heroes and their families.

We will provide the volunteer with our drafted 7-step framework for My Storybrand, existing communications and marketing materials, plus other relevant background information. We have a designated member of our team available to work with the volunteer on this project. We will also make any of our program beneficiaries available for interviews if needed.

Once the project is completed, we will be implementing it immediately by including it on the website to make our message more clear, creating social media posts and email marketing to start promoting our brand. We would love to have the volunteer who completes this be recognized on our website for their work dedicated to the project if they accept.
