Project Overview

I am looking for a videographer (or a marketer with these skills) to work with an employee/blind person on recording a video of them using assistive technology specifically to work, i.e., a Salesforce administrator. We will have videographer needs in Colorado, Arizona, and New Jersey.

This person would shoot the video, perhaps provide pointers to the person being recorded on what is working/what's not, but also work with our marketing team to pull the content that we need/edit the video.

Does the world of BVI (Blind Visually Impaired) interest you? If you're located in New Jersey, Arizona, or Denver, we need you!

We have two videos done by employees who are blind or visually impaired. The quality just isn't there, as it's self-recording. We will ultimately run these videos in a social media and/or email campaign.

Nonprofit Overview

Blind Institute of Technology (BIT) stands as a global nonprofit staffing and recruiting agency exclusively dedicated to professionals with disabilities. By championing inclusivity in our offerings, we not only serve an underserved community but also contribute to building a more equitable and compassionate society. BIT helps to reduce barriers to inclusive employment through education, preparation, employment placement and accessible technology initiatives.

In 2017, we launched the BIT Academy as part of our workforce development division. The Academy provides courses in Salesforce Administration and Digital Accessibility Analysis to disabled professionals. These valuable courses will ultimately prepare them for BIT’s Apprenticeship program, as well as set them on a path to a successful career in the industry of their choosing. BIT is the exclusive owner of two Registered Apprenticeship programs for the blind and visually impaired at the national level, both endorsed by the US Department of Labor.

Taking a historic step in 2018, we took the BIT Academy to a new level by transforming it into a virtual classroom. This move not only expanded its reach globally but also secured its status as the only approved training provider for people with disabilities by Salesforce.
