The project requires an individual to do some basic research on and outreach to a few homeless facilities. We need a volunteer to find out if the facilities offer a job training program for its clients. If so, the volunteer will find out how a facility's program operates (either online or by phone interview). Then, the volunteer will find out if the facility would be interested in partnering with HTD as part of our job training program. If interested, the candidate will tell the facility that someone from HTD will contact them to discuss further.

There are homeless individuals who desire to work, but there are pitfalls that prevent them from doing so. One example is the lack of training. Therefore, HTD is planning to launch its Job Training Program this spring. The purpose of the program is to provide training for homeless individuals and assist them in getting jobs in large and small companies. So, now is the time to find out how many homeless facilities want to partner with us in this endeavor.

HTD has the details of the program and the budget already written out. We have someone available to answer any questions that may come up, and we have already set aside funds for this program.
