Project Overview

We need to update our original brand style guide in order to elevate our ability to reach and influence our target audiences in the Investment industry in order to raise awareness of the importance of gender and racial equity in building an inclusive economy that benefits all. Our Brand style guide will be mainly used in digital channels like our website, social media, and newsletters. Also in print such as event posters and signage. We will incorporate the updated brand elements into our website, which will be updated in early 2024.

The style guide should include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements in formats we can use in print and digital. The guide should include instructions and formatting examples for utilizing the brand style guide based on communications channels or stakeholders. We're looking for a volunteer who's excited about our mission and has experience with brand and voice. This is a highly visible project that will impact us for a long time! We understand the value of a clear, compelling, and consistent brand identity, and your contribution will be worthwhile.

VC Include is a three-year-old start-up dedicated to influencing the Venture Capital industry to become more gender and racially diverse (currently, 98% of all VC investments are decided by white men). Our goal is to increase the diversity in the investment industry to create a more inclusive economy that prioritizes impact investing through a racial and gender-sensitive lens. As the leading acceleration program and network for emerging impact fund managers, we will succeed by influencing decision-makers, training fund managers, and convening committed representatives in the ecosystem. To achieve this, we need to update our original brand style guide in order to elevate our ability to reach and influence our target audiences in the Investment industry in order to raise awareness of the importance of gender and racial equity in building an inclusive economy that benefits all.

We are prepared to share our current brand elements, our goals for improving our branding and our target audiences. Our team will also come prepared with examples of brands we like. We'll share some of our past marketing materials. During the interview process, we'll ask to see your portfolio and examples of your graphic designs. Once completed, we will integrate the updated branding into our marketing materials including a redesigned website.

By connecting the world’s largest asset owners to a pool of best-in-class emerging diverse fund managers we create a substantial multiplier effect for entrepreneurship and wealth creation for women and often overlooked communities of color.
