Project Overview
Read2ReachAfrica is working to improve literacy skills in children of Africa by providing books to private community elementary schools. We're seeking grants from corporations and the government to equip these schools we have identified with reading books and building libraries in the schools or communities. We need help in writing the grant letter.
In the past year since Read2ReachAfrica was incorporated, the donations have come from the Board members and the founders. We are seeking financial assistance to reach more schools and accomplish our mission. Read2ReachAfrica has donated more than 1,000 books to date to three privately run schools, and we are looking to expand this project to as many schools as possible. We are currently seeking grants to help construct a library for one of the schools and will need someone to help us write the letter in a way that will attract grantors.
We will approach businesses for assistance in developing our goals to reach the children. The grant letter will enable us to reach businesses whose ideals align with our mission for them to participate in giving back to the communities.
