Project Overview

Our nonprofit museum, very much still in formation, is searching for a grant writer to assist us in reviewing and improving a draft grant proposal.

Prior to our first meeting, we'll provide you our website address and our draft proposal. In our first meeting, we will tell you more about the museum and review the draft proposal with you. Then we would like to receive your comments in writing, followed by a second Zoom meeting. In addition to the writing, we would like advice on the "presentation": formatting, illustrations, etc.A strong fundraising proposal will be essential to securing major foundation grants and gifts from major donors. I suspect that our draft proposal would benefit greatly from a professional's evaluation of what's there, what's missing, and what could be better written. Volunteers could be part of launching a major educational facility that will be a civic jewel.
We have been identifying potential major donors and foundations to whom we could send the proposal. We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format. (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.) We'll also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
