We are for a Development Director for ICA. - This position is part of ICA Leadership and will provide direct oversight to the Development team. This incumbent will work closely with the Executive Director and Leadership group around action planning, event planning and work to identify additional advancement opportunities for the organization. They will report directly to the Executive Director.

Fundraising / Event Planning:
• Direct the development and implementation of the overall campaign plan for the organization
• Work closely with Executive Director to develop plans, set goals, monitor activities, identify problems, and prepare action plans to resolve problems;
• Prepare quarterly progress reports and overall evaluations.
• Contact local businesses to request donations.
• Research and book venues for events.
• Conduct or review research on prospective donors; develop and recommend approach strategy including setting dollar and/or participation goals.
Volunteer Support:
• Provide fund-raising support to volunteers throughout the campaign.
• Provide status updates throughout the campaigns.
• Provide training/information to volunteers as required.

This individual will a part of the ICA Leadership team and have exposure with all leaders on developing the organization to new heights. Although we are submitting this as a project based assignment, we are hoping the individual that takes on this function would have the ability to want to stay on long term and help with providing the strategic insight on development and fundraising campaigns.

This is an opening on our Leadership Team where you'd get exposure to Executive Leadership for a non-profit but also be able to lead and make change with the organization. We are looking for someone strong around fundraising, event planning and execution. This individual will come in and assist with Q1, Q2 initiatives but have the desire to work long term with the organization.

We have a well formed leadership team as well as prioritizes initiatives for this individual to take part in. Once this individual comes in and assists with the responsibilities of the Development Director, we plan to implement said developments if they are aligned with the mission and values of our organization.
