Our nonprofit Rise of the Butterfly needs to complete its 2020 taxes. We currently have one person assisting us with filing, but we need more support itemizing expenditures in QuickBooks, filing, and related questions. This is a time sensitive issue, as we thought they were already complete and now we find that we only have one month as our bookkeeper had a death in the family and we are in need to find someone to help us finish the QB before Oct 15, 2021.

Our nonprofit uses art for fundraising and awareness campaigns for those effect by the plight of human trafficking. You will be supporting a team that is mentored by Gloria Steinem.Filing taxes and keeping everything above board and on track is key for the work that we do in helping survivors of trafficking. In this last year, we were able to get our nonprofit partner Voices for Freedom 2 million dollars in aid-- which helped free thousands of children. However, because we normally make our money through art shows it has been a hard year and I have been funding Rise of the Butterfly through my personal money. Therein, receiving volunteer help at this time would be extremely helpful. There is about 50k that needs to be categorized in Quickbooks so my Tax person can submit the taxes.
